A few new trails opened this year for snow wheeling, it is expanding! Next year will be even more

 

Question: Is camping allowed there in the winter?

 

Yes sir, any time on crown land you can camp.

The spot we camped at twice, is on the snow wheeling trails. Its exactly what you want.

 

you still coming in from the west on Songis road?

 

I do until they start grooming the trails, which will be late this year. We only got snow and below -10C in the last 2 weeks really.

Once they start grooming, I only use Olrig rd. For some reason they only have marked up to trail #10. But you can just continue all the way to highway 63, it is an access road on crown land and is usable all year round for us, even if it is not plowed.

This is a good app I have been using concerning snowmobile trails for winter trip planing ,,,shows all OFSC trails with GPS location without data , shows where you are not allowed to go .
Vmuts is calling me for a winter camping trip again this Christmas break,
