I’m at 47k miles and I’m starting to slip around in the rain so I’m assuming I need new tires.

I’m not looking for anything flashy, just want a safe tire with good mpg

I may just take it to Sam’s Club or Tire Tech unless you guys have some suggestions

    Thanks

On my Titan I went from worn Duratrac's to Hankook DynaPro AT-M's as I got a set for dirt cheap. Grip off road was nowhere as good as the Duratrac obviously but they were great for a daily driver in all weather conditions. They were nice and smooth and way better mpg than the Duratrac's. Not sure cost wise thought.

Yokohama geolander ht are around $150 and are good tires for the money unless you want AT tires .

I have run General Grabber AT's and AT2's for years and like them. Now the wife's has 255/85/16's BFG MT'S and it's getting close to replacement time. Ouch.

Same truck. Michelin Defender. Not cheap, but last as long as they're supposed to. Quiet, good traction, although not a tire for severe off-roading.

I had the Geolander AT on my old 2nd Gens with no complaints, decent tires for the money.

I’d go with the TSL SX2 if you’re looking for a nice quiet super swamper. 37” fits great. No lift no trimming.
