nice avg is around $250 at most shops. All in all, it does not take a ton of time. We did my first one quick at my brother's shop prob took 20-30 min.

Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
Stellar is becoming overpriced as well now from what I've been hearing and was quoted for some of the work I asked them about. Twice the price of most other shops (even Schaffers). Their prices were definitely reasonable couple years ago when they started their biz but now they KNOW people will pay a premium to get work done by them.

CaliFab is also an option and they are friends of Dmitry but their prices are not insane.

@chengitis is asking about a cab mount RELOCATION not chop. The relocation is going to be more costly since there's more cutting and welding involved than a CMC.

ah thanks @plurpimpin, totally missed that part 680 makes more sense. The relocation is pretty involved. A TON of grinding and prep work. I'd say if you got it around that it's expected. When I had mine done by Tim at Heavy Metal, I was there a good portion of the day.

I brought my own and was the first one he did so prob took longer (this was before he create his own which that day was part of the research).

Stellar makes their own so if they ad more cost its because of its a one-stop price.

I got my gears and lockers done at Shaffer’s last year and the price was reasonable compared to what everyone else is paying.

If you read my comment I am talking about cab relocation. Go look znofabrication in Auburn up and see how much they charge for the 2nd gen. I got a really good quote for the work.

he is currently really busy. I contacted him a month or two ago and he just got back 2 weeks ago? or so. But he was helpful. I would hold off until he finishes what hes doing (something with his home I think? cant remember).

    thats not bad.

But a CMC is so easy.

@exiquioloza TBH if you have an angle grinder, safety glasses, a mask, and gloves, you can do it. Only part is the welding. Although, that isnt even necessary. As for the cutting of the CM, its so simple and would take anyone about 5-10 minutes per side. Set up included.

I'm not in a rush so maybe I'll wait for Milo to be back online.

I agree CMC is easy since I can use my angle grinder. Cutting stuff up is fun but CMR is a whole another story which I have doubts attempting myself.
