NOLA is a good destination for a wedding

Lived close enough but only ever went to Laughlin! Once! Not my jam!

 

Doesn’t matter how long we live down there, don’t think we’ll ever participate in much Mardi Gras stuff as we hate crowds.
Our kids hate when their friends come down and all they want to do is the tourist stuff. When do come down to do that, they put them up in their Air BnB and give them tips on where to go so they can stay home. I predict it will be much the same with us.
We’re only going down there to be close to the kids and grandkids. While it’s a little exciting to be going back to a bigger city I’d love nothing more that to be on a giant piece of property somewhere away from the masses.

 

Mainly want to go there like I do Vegas, just to say I did! But really, I’d prefer to visit like yellow stone, places like that up north. More my scene

 

Been to Laughlin a few times and Vegas only once. Not a fan

 

Same here!!! I’d much rather spend time in a national park, in the mountains near a lake or river or better yet, on the ocean somewhere that any city.

 

Even in the bigger areas! That can still be done right! Parents are on 5 acres next to a freeway you can’t see with 40 acres behind and 30 acres in front at the end of a gravel road in Metro Detroit! Less than a mile from Home Depot, Emagine theaters, Walmart, sams club, and a Coney Island! It really is the perfect location! Feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere with everything around you! The freeway is more like a running river after some time!

 

I could do something like that. I love being secluded but love having a bottle shop or dispensary nearby.

 

If that’s the worst of it Tx you’re doing fine. Wait until you catch him drinking from the toilet or trying to put his finger in a dogs butt.

 

Give it time y’all find the perfect spot! With a pool!

I used to say Reno, but it's getting overran and crowded to all fuck. Not sure at this point. You could ask some of the guys in the Reno thread. Some people live in Fernley or Fallon because it's cheaper and they don't like how big Reno is.
