Hey all, just installed my new BakFlip MX4. Am I crazy or is the cover not sitting as flat as it should be? There seems to be a slight bump on one of the creases. Is this normal?

Here is the cover, looks normal from this angle.

This is where I see the slight bump. Seems like it should be laying more flush, but maybe this is just how it is.

Interested to hear what you guys think. Thanks in advance!

I had the same issue with my Extang Exceed when it was new, it should flatten out over time.

I think it’s just the way it was folded n the box. Will probably settle in time.

If you push on that spot does it flatten out?

Yes, it flattens out when I push on that spot.

I would let it rest a couple of days. You might try folding it up and down a few tries. I notice what looks like a indent just in front of the "bubble" on the bed rail? Could be a photo effect?

Solved. There are cushions you put on that rest against the truck when it's completely folded up and I put the outer cushions on too close to the edge. It wasn't allowing the cover to sit flush. Easy fix.
