Kind of kicking myself for not making a stink about this while taking delivery of my new Tacoma.

Went to pick up the truck after it arrived, and the salesman stated that floor mats were not included in the truck. I thought maybe this was a sales-tactic to get me to buy floor liners on the spot, but I already had plans to grab Husky liners on my own and they'd be $150 cheaper not purchased from the stealership so I didn't make a big deal of this.

Is this normal? The floor nubs for the mats are there but there are no carpet floor mats.

Surely these $40k+ trucks come with floor mats?

Mine came with the carpet and all weather mats. they were both garbage (for winter) and I replaced with weathertech.

Ok at least I'm not the only one, thanks.

Especially frustrating now that I realized the Husky X-Act mats I planned on getting apparently don't fit the 3rd gen 6MT :(

Guess I'm gonna go with weathertechs.

My 2021 purchased 2 weeks ago didn't have floormats. They were going to throw it in but i took the hundred dollars instead probably should've just took the oem mats.

Nope, both the carpet and all weather are an accessory / option, not standard, check your window sticker, they are charged or your dealer threw them in for ya, pretty lame on Toyotas part.

    What? For real?

Thats hard to believe, my taco came with carpet and rubber "all weather" mats. IMO thats unneceptable that a brand new vehicle comes without floor mats, wtf?

I have OEM rubber mats, they aren’t great at catching all the dirtz...especially for MTs, dirt sneaks under the mat from using the clutch...WTs will be infinitely better

Yep, even the rubber toyota "all weather" ones are shit. Huskys or weathertech is the way to go. I love my huskys, my carpet stays clean all year long.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
What did the Monroney (window) sticker show?
Look at the "build your own" on Toyota USA's web site - floor mats are all at extra cost.
If they were listed on the sticker, then the dealer owes you. If not, you weren't paying enough attention.
There are a few things on the Tacoma that used to be "standard equipment" that are no more.

yeah I know mine was an upgrade, but I would think that one of them would be shipped with the truck even if you paid for them.

    that’s lame
