I meant if you have a machete to cut the palm frond then why not use it to score the bread.

This was 140, then sat in a warm oven (from the taters) for 10 min while I finished the veggies.

Well based on that you can still call it the Cuban Sandwich you just can't call it the HISTORIC Cuban Sandwich.

Now on a more serious note, there are some darn good Cuban sandwich places in Tampa, used to go to one on the way towards downtown that had awesome food. Just a hole in the wall looking place with authentic food. Used to get a Cuban and some yellow rice with black beans.

Spicy Thai Beef Salad and Potstickers. It’s labor intensive but worth it every time!

I’ve adjusted it over the years and it’s not really written for someone else to follow. The major flavor in it comes from the lime juice and mint dressing.

Still working on dialing in the air frier frozen burger. Slight problem is the change from some 1/4 pound Walmart burgers to 1/3 pound Costco burgers so I'm basically starting over.

I'll just keep cutting 2 minutes off of the cook time until I'm happy with the results.

    20201210_195618.jpg

Bonus, I found some Famous Dave's spicy pickles buried in the dark recesses of the fridge.

Horribly unphotogenic but some fancy pants ramen with some added green onions and Hoisin. Because there totally wasn't already enough salt in it.
