Almost have these cleaned up ready to put back on when I get the truck back from the beauty spa
Colder out than I thought it would be sucky working with water in these temps of 44

Truck is looking sharp.

 

thanks!, the wheels are getting fugly after i had the weights moved to the inside a little over a year ago and they left scars and mild corrosion underneath behind
haven't had the chance yet to get them shipped to KC to get repaired
i am still astonished at what new wheels of that type cost

 

I’m sure there aren’t many original takeoffs in great condition. When you have a classic, parts in good condition only get harder to find

Good almighty it got cold when the front came in and sun goes away with a wind pick up
Finished woolwax all metal parts in the wheel wells where the moldings bolt onto
Used the HV paste so it should be splash resistant to wash off, time will tell...

 

You should line-x your entire truck

2-4 inch of snow mix forecast here today (around I-80), maybe get some 4x4 wheelin' in later this evening, not sure...

quite a bit! i may be confident enough now to row the gears into MN (which i have not ever been with this truck during the winter)

 

You should adventure somewhere that actually has snow like Montana!

After I get back later today will have to give truck a soap salts gone wash in the under back
... Still have the spare tire delete going

 

@Aqualoon , if you need some assistance with that truxedo ring me up, i can make a short drive from the MO river out of Sioux City (taco needs miles!) maybe somebody knows what they are doing able to assist me removing a fuel tank and save me a couple large ones from not having to have mechanic do it at his shop and then tow the truck back home to work onit and then tow it back & get it buttoned back up proper... sometime in the coming late spring/early summer,
