Anyone know if it’s possible to track down the original owner of a used vehicle? My truck was bought new in 2008 at Red McCombs Toyota in San Antonio, but didn’t modify a single thing. I’m the 3rd owner and I’d like to get in contact with the 1st owner so I can show it to him/her

 

Morning crew! Wrapped up a few small jobs this week and other than a couple of wall hanging shelf projects I need to complete, decided to take off from now until after the holiday's. One of the benefits of now being self-employed.

What's a good antifreeze tester? I know there's a lot cheap plastic one floating around, that are junk.

 

Start with the DMV? Maybe contact the dealer?

How long has the coolant been in there? Those testers are ok for testing the coolant's ability to resist freezing but do nothing to test whether the anti corrosion additives are still good

 

A 5000 mile RAV4 hybrid that supposedly has a brake squeak. Has ABS pump noise slow speed warning noise and slow down hybrid transaxle wine. All normal.

That wine is intentional.....or at least allowed to be there for pedestrian safety. Hybrids can roll pretty silently in EV. I bet you all get that question alot. My hybrid's is making weird noises!
