    Good Morning Whatever people

Slept like shit last night and am going to live off coffee today. Work sucked yesterday and I'm expecting another shit show today, joy. We began requirements gathering this week so I'm reminded how much I hate it all (lots of arguments and silent pauses on calls all day). 5 hours of meetings today and we'll see how much, if any of that time I get back

One of my cousins also messaged me last night asking if we were open for a visit in because he was feeling a little home sick for the "midwest". I've rarely talked to him and only met him as a teenager but I'm hoping he makes it out. My dad's family has always been out east and us out west, so we've never been close. It would be fun to reconnect as adults since they're probably the only part of our family we have anything in common with. Guess we'll see what 2021 brings :fingerscrossed:

Also, thinking about people born in 2000 being of legal drinking age...oh my, I feel old :bananadead:

I don't think it is possible for them to forget something that they didn't know in the first place.

I heard she sang a good song
    I heard she had style
And so I came to see her
    To listen for awhile
And there she was this young girl
    A stranger to my eyes
Strumming my pain with her fingers
Singing my life with her words
Killing me softly with her song
    Killing me softly
    with her song

lyrics to the song stuck in my head right now probably because I've been listening to it obsessively

Good morning, picked up an extra job today. Rich ass client that bought a 2000$ artificial tree needs help assembling. The first one arrived and did not work as advertised. She called the company about it, they told her they will send her a new one and just toss the old one :eek:o_O hopefully I don't end up like the pillow

Bet it's a balsam hill one. They're really beautiful trees.

It's a fake one. No stray leaves and needles to fall in the pool.

    Artificial should be your favorite!

The one we have has two different types of needles. Its sheds almost worse than a real tree. The one today is approximately 10 feet and covered in a light flicking. I am allergic to the synthetic snow. Should be a fun time trying to figure out electrical issues with my wife standing over me.
