I'm dealing with the same crap waiting on a solid pinion spacer from Trail Gear. Originally supposed to be delivered yesterday, ordered it on Thanksgiving - was welcomed with a nice surprise today...

With all of you in here so salty towards shipping companies, I guess it wouldn’t be a good time to tell you that my bumper arrived yesterday!:bananadance::bananadance::bananadance:

To help you guys feel better, it arrived almost falling out of the box with a nice gouge in the coating.:annoyed:

I didn’t have tracking information on it, so I didn’t know to leave my gate open for the delivery man, so he chucked it over my fence. Wonder how it got that gouge:confused:

Ironically, I have quite a few family members who work for USPS. They understand the frustration, but at the same time they're all extremely overworked and underpaid, so their give a damn has been busted far too long. Not that that's any justification - I'm just complaining for the sake of complaining at this time. If it were a critical part I needed immediately I would have forked over the coin for overnight shipping.

I get that all shipping companies are worked to death these days with all the online ordering going on. Luckily I'm waiting on gun parts for a Mini-14 that I won't be shooting anytime soon.

My oldest just had an orchestra concert on Zoom. There were a whole 5 people on stage and 6 on the Zoom call.

I really have no qualms with the shipping company, it’s really the manufacturer/seller that shipped a steel bumper wrapped in a poly bag inside of a cardboard box with no padding whatsoever, that I have a problem with.

Granted it’s a steel bumper, I still would like it to look good when I put it on, and if “I” scratch it, then it will be my own fault.
I emailed them and we’ll see how they handle it.

Wonder if a powdercoat company would have some touch up paint to blend it in?

I know you bought a new bumper and should have a new bumper and if it gets dinged you want to be the one to do it!

I've bought one new vehicle my whole life, my wife and I got a 2019 Suburban a year and a half ago. We had 5,000 miles on it and a toolbox fell off an overloaded trailer we met on a 2 lane road, dude kept going and didn't come back. No where to go and my wife drilled it. $3,500 worth of plastic messed up. I was sick. Got it fixed, 2 weeks later sitting at a stop light and a guy bumped us from behind and left 2 marks on the rear bumper. I told her no more new vehicles

Did you tell them if you wanted a bumper with a dent and scratch you wouldn't have ordered one, you already have one?

@Gregthespy - partial refund for a damaged product that they don't have to pay to have shipped back and send out another one then take @six5crèéd's (green!) powder coating advice.

I sent @McRib a small package through the USPS. He lives 4 hours from me. It took 8 days to get to him

That's awesome! I've pulled your website up several times in the past (accidentally), because I am always trying to get to a different TGP. . . https://www.tgpamerica.com/ https://www.fireglass.com/

We're kind if the exact opposite.

My wife bought a 1997 Plymouth Neon new off the lot without even knowing how to drive a manual. Oops. I have to admit that was a fun ride. Second gear from a dead stop at a red light all the way to 60 on the interstate before shifting to 5th for that thing was crazy. Peppy little crapbox.

The 2005 Pilot was bought new and is now my son's. Has a whole 110k on it.

Wife's 2015 Highlander had 25,000 miles on it and had electrical problems we couldn't figure out so we traded it in a few months ago.

My '19 Tacoma was a fantastic deal and replaced the Pilot as my daily when the kid stole it from me.

I didn't want 2 car payments but I didn't want to have to rescue my wife again more so her '15 Highlander was traded in for a '20 Highlander Hybrid a few months ago. She absolutely loves it and if the same powerplant was available for the Tacoma, I'd take it in a heartbeat.
