that's why the Sabelco lock has a key so you can remove the gate but no on else can.

Not sure what you mean by small but the wheelers super bumps is one of the best bang for buck mods.

    Instantly increased ride quality off-road

Bed stiffener that doubles as an anchor point for a bike lock. Basically impossible to defeat without a grinder or torch (so I feel OK leaving the bike in the parking lot for awhile when I'm in a store or restaurant). Also added the non OEM bed mat for under $100 - works great!

And the 8 ball shifter along with the blue trim rings and LED interior light swap. Huge difference in brightness!

Don't need the dome with the Meso maps in an access cab, but gotta second the first two here.^^
I'd let the beloved bed mat go before either of these went.

bed mat. i went with non-oem for price and ribs directing water/dirt toward tailgate, not toward sidewalls...easier to clean out.
    mud flaps.
    center console tray.
padlock on spare tire hoisting chain.
    hard bed cover.
dash mounting system for toys like gps, phone, etc. made my own but some good systems to be found on TW.

this is just had to do: anytime backup camera switch in dash - but you know - its a novelty for me - i never use it except to show it off to friends.
front camera addition would probably get used more but i never did it.

edit: i forgot...i added a removeable partition in the bed by attaching aluminum channels using the existing side bed storage mounting screws. then cut a 12" wide x 1" thick board (stained black) to drop/slide into them. great for keeping groceries well behaved and easily removed to use the full bed.
there is a similar bed partition that clamps to the bed rails for $$$.

These help if you have little kids in car seats in the back. Because you’ll be ready for them to self-buckle ASAP.

    OEM Bed Mat.
OEM Electric Tailgate lock. It's not 100% theft proof, but will likely make them look for an easier target.
Risers for the rear mounts of the front seats. Not only improved my seating position, but made it possible to stash stuff under the seats.
Glove box and center console organizers. They take two useless spaces and make them useful.
Gashole gas cap holder. Toyota should have built that right into the gas door.
Large fuse box cover with labels. In case you decide to add any electronics.
Window tint. Original owner had that done, which was nice of him. ;)
Door sill protectors. I didn't add them and don't know if they are optional, but i like them.
    Smart phone mount.
Extra always hot USB in lower switch panel and at back of console.
Mud flaps. Cheapies from Ebay, but they work and mounted very easily.
Gun vault cabled to front seat mount. You can store valuables of all sorts.

How is yours so far back? Mine is OEM and hooks to the rail cleats and sits about a food forward of the tailgate making it a stretch to reach

*EDIT* I saw your method on post 31 right after I asked lol
