I don’t want any steel up top, LFD is steel as is Gobi I believe. Powder coat eventually scratches (if you use the rack as intended) and I prefer not to have rust dripping down onto my paint. Aluminum is plenty strong for a roof rack, I like the low profile of the Prinsu. I’d considered the Victory (Prinsu copy so looks almost the same) but they use steel feet, plus don’t like the cut out on the side rails.

That trucks pretty sweet, there was a half build thread of it here on TW and a pretty extensive one on the old PBB. I used his build thread for tech info when I chopped my front frame off when I did the SAS on mine.

 

That's bad ass. PROTIP: Set the playback speed to 2X and this is a much easier to watch video.

 

Tires I want are sold out everywhere, only place that has them is eBay but I'm sure any shop will charge me an arm and a leg to install them. Anyone want to go in with me on a tire balancing machine?

 

@Discount Tire probably would charge about $25/tire. BUT it'd include lifetime balancing, rotations, flat repairs, and service at any location nationwide.
