    Woah Woah.
Why can you not have .45s in Canada?

Don't tell me handguns are banned.

Pretty much the only reason I wouldn’t move to Canada.

That's kind of a bummer because... kinda was keeping that option open for myself. But won't if they don't allow handguns.
I was looking it up and it sounds like restrictions are new as of this year?

You can have handguns but they are regulated heavily and you may not carry them for personal protection against other folks. It works out ok though because no one else is carrying one either. If you own a handgun, you must have what’s called an ATT or authorization to transport which lists the range you practice at and the route you take to get there. If you are caught too far from that route while in possession of your gun you are in some trouble. It’s actually great to live here, I never worry I’m going to get shot ;)

the new restrictions are not about handguns they are an idiotic attempt to define “assault rifles” and solve a problem we don’t have. Infuriating

Does everybody carry a big knife to even the playing field out?

    British Columbia looks gorgeous!

Lol...in the woods for sure. A lot of folks carry a little edc folder.

BC is spectacular, but you're in Alaska, so you know already. Come for a visit. I'll buy you a beer

Honestly I'm not afraid of getting shot. I don't have much personal safety fears in my country, only one I do have is being attacked for being gay, and that likely because that actually has happened to me so I have a heightened fear.

When I worked in a law firm I carried daily. Had one client come at me and I started carrying (wonder if @LocoLocal carries).

But honestly I haven't really felt the need to carry for personal defense outside of having a gun in my nightstand. I really would only carry when hunting, hiking, or running in remote areas where I'm likely to run into bears or big cats. But I do prefer to use the "shooo!" method (with animals and people).

I've been all over the world but not Canada. I need to pay you guys a visit. I hear ya'll are super nice people. :)

Again, I’ll buy you a beer if you come up here. Or head to Toronto/Montreal if you like big city stuff in a Canadian way.

I like beer, especially free beer.

Honestly nature, food, and beer is how I prefer to experience any country so BC sounds good to me.

Same here, nobody ever seriously messes with any fit male.
I grew up hunting squirrel, turkey and deer, always had firearms around, always carry and it’s the same as putting a wallet in my pocket.

What I like most about you is that you aren’t what I would consider a stereotypical gay who is extremely liberal, against the 2A, and vegan. I don’t know any gay people so that’s pro a skewed perception to some level anyways lol

One sample flight will cover you all no problem, don't want anyone to get fat(ter)...plus it is a fact that a 4oz Canadian beer has as much alcohol as a pint of regular American beer.

I grew up with military parents. Always exposed to guns, been hunting for years. Also have farmers in my family so I know what its like to raise your own food and get it into the freezer.

What is actually funny is guys like me "masc gay men" actually get a lot of hate in the gay community. For the most part if you met me, unless I was actually standing next to my husband, talking about him, or a Whitney Houston song came on, you wouldn't think I'm gay. I have gotten shit, when I have tried to be part of the gay community, for having "internalized homophobia" and thus I project a heterosexual outward perception because I'm ashamed of who I am and thus I'm giving the community a bad reputation. I honestly feel sometimes I get more respect in the heterosexual and bisexual communities. So thank you :hattip:. Gay community is awesome, don't get me wrong, but like a lot of groups we bring each other down as much as others bring us down sometimes.

What do you carry day to day?

Telling people how they should act seems to be getting more and more common.

A 9mm Sig Sauer P365XL with a Holosun 507k.C70C5242-23E3-48D8-A23A-52905D450833.jpg What is your handgun of choice?

Not sure how the gym thread turned into the carry thread, but I'll play. Glock 19MOS with Vortex Viper red dot in a TXC X1 holster:

Haha, my wife actually bought this one for me for Christmas, I convinced her I needed to make sure it works before the 30 day return period ended.
