[IMG] Hello all, I've seen old threads about mud tires but some of the models me tioned are no longer mainstream and highly priced if not just scarce.

I have a new truck and i just don't want it to roll quietly. So I would like a set of tires that roar when rolling down the interstate.

Any advice and criticism is welcome, but I am already determined on getting tires that are not silent.

Buying tires by the sound they make definitely a poor idea. But hey to each there own.

    You want rolling noise.

Look for the most aggressive tire tread lug pattern.

Doubt if you'll find any tire listing based on Noise. Tire noise is highly dependent on speed and road surface.

By chance, do you ride a Harley??

Tires on the wifes are BFG MT and now after 30k miles I can hear it coming down the road 3/4 a mile down the road. They're 255/85/16's I believe. I don't like it but don't seem to bother her any.

These aren't too bad and could fit the bill. I'm sure they'll get more loud as they wear.20200816_173613.jpg

May need a lift and some rims. Spare tire would store in the bed. Should work, similar to Ford's Big Foot truck.

Why did this tire design never gain popularity?
