From someone that was a vin spotter for my uncles repo company back in the late 90s, that guy was looking for a vehicle to strip and say its a repo if he gets caught.

On another note, that was a crazy & dangerous job to do on wrong side of town in Mobile, AL hahah

 

If i see that MF again out there gun might come out.

Did you call the towing company to let them know their employee was high this afternoon and trying to tow random Toyota’s?

No i was so caught up in the moment i didnt get the number off the truck but there was one. It was a nice tow truck too. Not a crappy one if thats worth anything.

 

What was LLOD post about? Wondering if him and the chef sleep together in tent? Cause that’s what I was wondering.

 

In one of his recent videos he is going biking with one of his buddies that he says hes jealous of his van like a million times lol. Anyways he starts talking about his chickens at his house and no joke he says "Im not a farm channel mostly a gear channel"

 

I saw that one. That van was freaking impressive if I was living out of one full time that’s the route I would go. I know we have a AL Bike Thread but, those bikes were impressive too. I remember him saying that. After he told about all the chickens getting ate or him having to kill them. Question I had was did you eat them after you killed them?

 

Yea i was like dang man don't have to know about you killing the chickens lol. All jokes aside that video he did with Toyota was pretty cool!

 

Yep. Was an awesome truck but they could have done so much better with the gear on it. I think he said it was a Toyota truck too. I mean a Yakima tent. Really? That thing should have been expoaf. Especially with super charger.

 

That's pretty strange. I've done repos in the past and we usually got some really good info as far as place of work, residence, etc. Also a lot of times there was some pictures of the vehicle typically from the time it was sold. We didn't take any time meandering around a vehicle it was a quick hop out check VIN and then try and figure out where the person was to acquire the keys but always the vehicle was identified long before anyone showed up. The TV shows dramatized the stuff so much so know that's what people think happens on repos.

 

Yea i came out i think as soon as he pulled up. He did check the VIN so it wasn't just like oh that's not it and he drove off. I said you messing with me, thing he would just say nice truck man or something. Then he was like no I'm serious and then i went into the whole talk of its paid off and I'm not that person.

 

Yeah man from what you are saying his demeanor seems weird but he could just be some anti-social poor communicator. We never had to repo anything that had a lot of money tied up into it like you do. Most of the time it was the beat up junkers from buy here pay here type of dealerships. Very rarely did we get one from actual car lenders as they would rather defer the payment and get even more money from you. The cost of a repo for them is high and by the time all the proper court filings, paperwork, repo man paid, storage fees, potential repairs, etc. it wasn't worth it to the "reputable" lenders.

Lucky. We have ATT at 15 down, 1 up. Rest of the city has charter. Charter quoted 6k to run a line up here. Will probably bite the bullet one day, but I think there will be some grants for rural internet that come out of COVID in the coming years so I’m waiting.
