Can you send another link for it? The earlier ones don’t work for me for some reason.

    Not real sure.
Not even real sure I am going to get one of the grills.
I suspect there is some stick on lettering out there that would work.

I actually thought that might be a good place for some lights.
I an not a big fan of light bars but I bet one would fit in that space where the emblem would go pretty nicely

Pretty sure it comes with the Toyota letters. They just can't show it.

If there’s a group buy I’m interested. Keep us updated and if anyone bought one post a pic on your truck.

I don't think so. Well, I know I did not buy them.

I have other things to fix first before I go worrying too much about a new grille but perhaps this spring I might revisit a group buy.

Of course it seems the best deal would be buying them two at a time according to my math.

If the seller can do something better about shipping the quantity may go up some.

Well strangely enough I checked out my alibaba and saw that I got a message from the seller about those grilles.
They are telling me that there is a warehouse in the US so I asked why the shipping, per unit, went up every time I added another one to the cart.
    Still awaiting an answer.
If they can work on shipping, buying 5 or 10 might be doable.

    Ok another update.
Sorry I am still new to the alibaba thing so I find something new every time I go there but apparently you can buy a sample piece which allows you to just buy one.

Ends up being $131.52 shipped to my door for one grille.
Not a wicked deal but not terrible.

EDIT: Now it appears that the shipping is scaling properly.
To get 5 grilles shipped would be about $98 per grille.
If you bump that number to 10 grilles it ends up being about $84 a grille

$325 shipping for the 2001-2004 version. $78 for one grille. For $78 I'd give it a try, but no way I'm paying anything more than $25 for shipping.

You have to message the seller directly for a shipping quote. Ignore the shipping estimate. I got one for like 155 shipped. Took about 2 weeks. The letters are supposed to come with it but they are back ordered. Grill is what you would expect for aftermarket quality. Haven’t installed yet, the paint is like a chalky flat black so I’ll probably end up painting it. The LED lights do fit in the grill like the 3rd gens. I’ll post some pics once I get everything on

I wonder if the TOYOTA logo off of the old Landcruisers will fit.

They’re little mounting holes in the grill for the letters. They’re supposed to come with them but I think they’re behind on manufacturing. They look like the 3rd gen style mount to me

I have been talking with the seller but I think some things are getting lost in translation.
I was having trouble getting it through to them that I want the 97-2000 model year Toyota Tacoma grille.
They keep showing me the 2001+ grilles and telling me they can have 20 to me in 10 days.

I think I might have sorted that out and now and just awaiting a quote for 5 and 10 shipped to my door.

Yeah mine took about two weeks. Confirm with them if they have the letters in stock. If the 97 ones come with those. I’m somewhat skeptical if I’ll ever receive mine. For mine I had them send me an invoice including shipping. Ended up being like 155 ish to the west coast.

I’ll try and get some after the weekend after I’m off work. I’m not a big fan of the finish so I’ll end up painting. It’s matte black but not too dark and a lil chalkboard looking. At least to me.
