On my 2010 Long Bed Sport 4x4 I am already budgeting 200K mile service, whether done by myself or the dealer. The truck shows NO signs of slowing down but that's just it - I want to go at least another 100K. The engine bay is perfectly clean with no gunk and there are no signs of any leaks. The radiator hoses look perfectly new but I've never used any rubber treatment.

I have used the 4WD system in heavy rain, but likely no more than 2,000 miles in its lifetime.

The manual's suggested maintenance stops at a certain point, but I figure I should:

    Normal Stuff (me)
    - Oil & Filter
    - Air Cleaner
    - Cabin Air Cleaner
    - Differential Fluid
    - Power Steering Fluid
    - Brake Fluid
    - Tranny Fluid & Screen
    - MAF Clean
    - Throttle Body Clean
    - Anything with the 4x4 system?

    Harder Stuff (Dealer):
    - Water Pump (coolant too, of course)
    - All rubber belts
    - Fuel Filter (system is pressurized?)
    - Fuel Injector Cleaning
    - Anything with the A/C?

    Anything else?

Any ideas of dealer costs of the dealer section?

I agree with all of this.
Leave the Water Pump and Fuel Filter alone.
I don’t really consider them a maintenance item. Unless you just enjoy doing “big jobs”.

Don’t open the A/C system. If it’s been working this entire time, the last thing you want to do is introduce anything from the outside into it

Almost all valve covers eventually leak; it's impressive yours have not yet. I'm barely at 180K and have had a seep since about 120K.

I would do the water pump but would leave it to one of the last things, and replace the fan clutch with it, both with Aisin parts.

I would replace idler pulley bearings, and possibly the belt tensioner - but for sure its pulley/bearing.

I would replace radiator hoses and thermostat.

I'd keep a close eye on the alternator by buying a voltage meter for the cig lighter port. It's cheap insurance to monitor the overall health of your charging system.

Thanks, I forgot about the PCV Valve.

Valve covers are not leaking at all. I live in LaLa Land and it's not in the summer but perhaps it's because it's never extremely cold.

Makes sense the fuel filter is in the tank, but I could have sworn I saw another inline fuel filter under the truck one day.

My 2010 just turned 212,000......and decided to do PCV , easy, $10.50 Toyota OEM......the old one still rattles , but too much funk came out of original.
That got me to change plugs OEM ($25) and refurbish coils ($35 for kit) and low and behold, oil leak on one of my coils.....so valve cover gasket replacement for that side, and preventive replacement for other side.

after all this, I’m changing Power steering reservoir, original is too stained can’t see level, and throttle body cleaning.

funny thing with spark plug change and all that......gas mileage got worse, not better

Fuel filter is definitely a good idea but it's a lot more complicated than you would expect.

The URD fuel filter and pump upgrade is your best bet.

Hoses......rubber gets hard with age, heat and exposure to petroleum base.

Vacuum lines are sensitive to leaks.

In general, replace all rubber hoses.

Do the 100K service, then drop back to typical service intervals.

I'm creeping on 200k myself. 184k almost, and my truck is paid off around May 2021 latest. 2007 pre runner 4.0 v6

I plan on doing a whole engine "refresh" and whatnot I'm calling it haha

    -Full radiator flush
    -Spark plugs
-Brake and Power steering fluid flush/exchange
    -Rear Differential Fluid

Pulleys/belt have been replaced and worked on within the past couple years. New alternator, power steering pump, battery, crank seal and AC charged professionally.

Maybe a transmission fluid exchange, never flush I've read/been told. Or may not even mess with it. I read mixed things. It shifts fine still

Then just look into anything that ties into suspension and all in the front and replace.

So anything else I should add? Can share ideas and all to help every one here viewing this thread

Take advantage of an oil change special at a local TOYOTA dealership, that includes 30 pt inspection and let them show you what they find ..........
I’ve been able to negotiate discounts on services to the point that it was worth letting them do some.

Not a bad idea... I do my own oil changes, but a "free" multi point inspection would be nice and help with future repairs and all

Just a thought......if you run conventional oil, 5 qts and a filter on special is $30, plus I buy the Toyota filter

here in Houston, 7 Toyota dealers, somebody has an oil change special for $39.95, to get you in dealer to look at your car and under the car on a lift......

What about the radiator and it's plastic tank? Seen a few blow out with age/mileage/off-road usage. I replaced mine with an all aluminum unit at 200k as a preventative measure.
