So mine didn't come with fog lights (I assume most 2.7L's dont) but was wondering how hard they are to install? Is it just plug-n-play? Any wiring involved?130744173_445519730174264_3787603461788417317_n.jpg

I'm planning on adding fogs myself....from what I gather there's a lil bit of wiring to do. There's kits out there that come with everything you need (wiring, lights, bezels, switch) personally I'm lookin at this kit: https://www.extremeterrain.com/taco...21630209&_bta_c=4rf1wi9dv97oh9uw2enu59gigs8hj

Yeah I figured there’d at least be some wiring with the switch and whatnot, but wasn’t sure if Id have to completely run all of the wiring involved or if it was already somewhat set up

Ah contraire, some Prerunners did come with fog lights. Prerunners came in base, SR5, TRD Sport versions. I can tell you that the base Prerunner did not come with a preinstalled wiring harness.

I stand corrected! I was thinking more about the Gen3’s, but the fact remains you are correct especially where the pre-runners are concerned since they do come in the other trim levels. Thanks for the clarification!

I installed Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro Fogs to my SR Utility. I bought the harness from CaliRaised and used a CH4x4 switch. Took around 2hrs to install.

Yes i have removed the secondary air filter but didnt really notice any difference. I did notice a little more top end after swapping out the stock filter for an aFe pro dry drop in though

New softtopper on my 4banger. Feels way better driving than it did with a hard shell on the back.
