I guess making fun of people makes you feel more important than you really are? ... By the way asking if it’s no longer available and then asking if anyone knows “why” they discontinued it are two separate questions!

I think the answer is pretty obvious... the head units changed in that year and Toyota made no effort to include that feature in the design of the new head unit. The head units changed to accept Android auto and Apple Car Play... the previous head units did not have the hardware to support that software.

Finally - A mature response! That’s a good point, I forgot they changed the head units.

I’m gonna loose my sh*t if the next series of questions this guy asks involve the best way to secure a MTB in the bed of his truck :D

What is it that everyone always says.......................................................Oh yes - This post is no good without pictures. And besides who better to judge than a randy, uh I mean random group of "pick-up truck" aficionados whether or not they would or wouldn't fit.

    Does anyone know why?

@Plain Jane Taco delivered. He is the real winner of this thread, and judging by that photo evidence, a winner in real life as well.

And that's with a minimizer bra to make them look a size smaller than what they actually are! :D

And no...her neck isn't 4' long. She was looking up to make sure I didn't get her face in the picture. o_O

I'll just include the head shot separately. Not bad for a 50 year old.

I'm blessed beyond measure. She's been an awesome partner for the last 30+ years. And I enjoy bragging on her

That’s my original question I was hoping someone on Tacoma World knew the answer to - before all the prepubescent “men” on here decided to comment. Why would Toyota discontinue this option, it was a nice way to customize your truck to your personality!

YEAH! Cause REAL MEN worry about personalized pictures on their start up screens and will get all emotional and defensive when the can’t get that!

It appears you are the one getting emotional when a more mature man calls you out! Enjoy your day.
