    Wow...

    6k...

For a 33 year old truck.

People really do be thinking old Yota's made of gold.

For that one in that condition $2500. $3k if it's factory turbo 4wd with manual hubs and the gear to gear transfer case. Assuming no rust or major oil leaks, and that's being generous.

I've had an '87, I've had a '95, I've and an '00 like I get it to a degree and I'm a Toyota guy through and through, like did you know the 22R in these things are ultimately based off an industrial air compressor they milled and put spark plugs in?

But at the end of the day... It's a tiny, rough riding, noisy, old, loose, ready to rust apart, gutless shit box.

Even if it will "run forever" most cars these days run forever with minimal maintenance. People just over value these things for some odd reason.

    :notsure:

There's only one Old Toyota I would shell for:

Always amazes me that people don't "get" why a 30+ year old, desirable, collectable vehicle is worth more then what KBB might consider "fair".
Funny part is with that kind of mileage and if all it needs is a paintjob, you could probably get $12,000-$15,000 out of it freshened up.

If you want a real shock, look up what 30 year old BMX bikes sell for.

People at gas stations and lumber yards will offer me 4-5k for my '90 4x4 pickup with the 22RE. I paid $1200 for it in '06, so I really can't understand it. Don't get me wrong, I love my little truck and will hold onto it until it rusts away, but you can get a lot more functionality for 5k somewhere else.

A buddy just paid $20k cash for a nice ‘87. You guys who have these are lucky sobs. I regret selling our ‘85.
