They don't look a thing like that. (Sarcasm)

I thought the same. Cool and different but I really like the distinct horseshoe of the OEM.

I agree with that. I like the OEM, but for aftermarket ones, these ones are good looking. I haven't seen any after market ones I would consider, but these I would (if I didn't like the OEM more). Spyder really should just terminate those ends in the proper connector though!

those look great IMO - already bought Meso stage 1 (which are awesome BTW - I was totally worried about getting rear ended prior) otherwise I would totally consider these!

I still need to test when it's dark out, but I'm not holding out hope for the reverse lights. As you can see, they are super bright, but are lensed with a tight beam profile that goes straight out, they should have a wide field of regard and be pointing down a bit. Frankly, the LEDs are sunk back in the housing so they don't allow for much light spread.

The backups are probably going to be an afterthought I think and not as good as stock.

I was able to test the LED backup lights on a very dark road and they were fine. This is on a dark road with no street lights.

On a side note, I saw these on the road this weekend on another Taco and they looked terrible. 2/10 would not recommend.

I think they look great. A bit like the Chevy lights but I don't think that detracts. Interested to see how they hold up for you.

These look like a 16 year old kid designed them. No thanks.

It is too bad Toyota messes up on some of the obvious improvements they could give us given what they want $ for their trucks. (my 19 Off Road (sticker 42500) didn't even have remote start or a seat that raised, yet it warned me when someone was in my blind spot and when I was about to collide with another care. I'm having a hell of time finding decent LED tails for my 21 Sport (sticker $46500) I want something that "blinds" people when I brake or turn so they'll slow down .. I joke . or do I :) I looked at Spyder but theirs say they are not street legal which tells me they aren't very bright (?) Guess I'll wait for the world to catch up .. ha.
