Workin from home this week. That means union mandated break = nap time on the couch since my wife took over the spare bedroom with her home office / laundry.

I just need to actually buckle down and study up for the certifications so I can do that and find a new job. Aiming to get out of here before I reach my 3 year mark.

Can't go wrong with Eggshell with Romalian type.

Buck an hour at 2.7%? That means you're pulling $37/hr? I'd take that
    I get ~$2.50/hr at 10%...

Just to help my moribund curiosity of how night shift pay works -- What are you guys compensated at for the off shifts? Sounds like if you're willing to suck up the night hours, you can make a bit of money?

I've always been salary + commission or commission only. So if I work shit hours, they're just shit hours I deal with.

LOL. I hear that. I have a 3/2 and both spare bedrooms are offices now since we're stuck at home. I sold a brand new queen bedroom set so homegirl had some room to work.

I dont like working at home, although new job will require it. My fiancee will be moving in around April, and she already had me setup an office for her in my man cave. I guess to be fair, my whole house is my man cave, but Ive been storing future truck projects in my basement room/where she likes to work. Dont know how that is going to go after she moves in.

She hasnt been wanting one of the bedrooms, because I have a roommate. Im going to use his rent as long as I can before the fiancee moves in. Its like free money also, because Im helping him out with low rent, and he is helping me pay my mortgage down. Sucks that she didnt want to move in and have him still live there.

Hate to piss on your parade but not knowing the whole story and just reading this post alone it sounds like you might be in for a world of shit. Pull up your skirt and grab your balls and start making decisions Nancy.

y'all will figure it out, I'm sure. Everything's a shit sandwich right now. If you like her, just give up the truck parts storage room lol. I lost an entire bedroom to keep the missus happy. Weird times all around. I lost almost a quarter of my garage to "important memory storage bins" Meanwhile I've been burning my childhood school papers my mom keeps sending me in my backyard fire pit.

    You'll be ok :)

I get that she will change some stuff. Got alot to work through. (probably truck budget)

Im not worried. She doesnt need a whole room for her office, just a desk, chair, and a computer.

:) She knows the garage is mine. Its a 1 car garage - 20x10, so her car wont fit inside anyways. And Ive got my tools/motorcycle/other stuff in there.

yea that was me! I didnt keep it though. I picked it up, stored it for 3 months, then sold it for $950

They built the bike from The Walking Dead. And I got to sit on it! That was cool. Their shop was awesome.

Homegirl has a job right? May be time to boot the roomie and start your new life with the wife-to-be. It never gets easier, and I'm not even married. They're like some kind of brain parasite. Once you find the right one, you can cope with most everything. And I say that someone who has gone through a lot of girlfriends to find one that was willing to put up with my terms and tolerate my nonsense. Giving up a bit of garage space and a spare bedroom was a no brainer for someone you'd take a bullet for.
