jokes on you E30's are OBD1 so while they may be broken, there's no fancy lights to tell you that

 

I do want one some day, they're sleek lookin cars. When I was at auto school, one of the guys had one. He said it's nothing but electrical problems.

 

ehh I would disagree. If an E30 has electrical problems, it's been fucked with in one way or another. Mine has 290k+ on the original engine/trans. They're great cars. Stupid easy to work on and a great reminder of how cars should feel to drive.

 

I have another friend who wanted one and test drove it, told me there was such a bad exhaust leak they were coughing up their lungs inside the cabin haha.

Not a good sample size to make a judgement, I know. I still want one!

 

lol yeah mine has a nasty exhaust leak because I scraped holes in my cats when I used to be a stance boy

Yeah, makes me wish i still had my 02 grill. Plenty of info out there for those.
Right now i think the plan is to 2 part expoxy it to the front bevel and cover with some boat trim.
Alternative is to cut it down to the front bezel and mount it from the back (undo all the fiberglass and bondo work )
