yeah they certainly look great to me! Cement is that color that really gets me ! GORGEOUS. i'm wondering if these would fit my mall crawler tires which are lke regular size or would they be too wide ? I got them not too long ago is why I ask and prob wouldn't get new bigger tires just yet

I bought the complete set from another member who decided to go another route, but I believe he got them from FN and then added the TRD decals.

    1. Does anyone have a set of matte black 17's they'd sell?

I'd like a set but they appear to be sold out until the next batch.

    2. Am I correct that the early runs of these wheels were not hubcentric, but now they are?

    3. Also curious if this style oem center cap fits? Looks like it protrudes where the FN one is flat with the wheel. Apologies if this has already been covered, I looked around a bit but there are a lot of pages heh.

@coldaccord I do not think those center caps will work. See attached photo of FN. Look at the lug nut cutouts on your center cap vs the non-cutout for FN. Hope this helps! I talked with Dustin when I bought this set and he pointed out that the lug area is the easiest to tell FN vs others.

ah, good point, thanks. No worries, I like the caps they come with. I’d only be running them on the back anyway, fronts have manual lockers

@tacotoospicy gorgeous man! did you go with the dark gunmetal gloss ? with colormatched center caps? fantastic looking on that truck... I have an 08 silver and have been debating these vs the TRD matte black ones which I think look terrible when dirty.

Appreciate that! Yea I went with the DGM. Last set of wheels were black and the gloss dark grey really catch the sunlight. For the $ and customer service can't beat it

Called yesterday to get on the waiting list, Dustin was very thorough and communicative. Went over timetable, variables, my options, etc.

Since I have a first gen with manual locking hubs, the little step at the end of the hub bore will be in the way. This is the piece the center cap mounts on. Since I'd like to maintain the wheels being hubcentric, I opted to have the step removed by a machine shop, which he takes care of for a reasonable cost prior to shipping. I'm doing this on all 4 wheels so I can rotate them in the future. The hubs could be opened up to 108mm and he has another center cap to install, but I'd rather just keep them all hubcentric at 106mm

Has anyone come across a 106mm center cap by chance? If not I plan to just run them without a cap, no worries. Better offset and width than the Toyota version for sure

Have had a tough time getting in touch with someone at the shop. Called and left a message last Wed before thanksgiving and called again today. Also filled out the contact us form on their website. Hope to hear soon.. I'm guessing these are on backorder for the moment or there's a waitlist ? did Dustin give you any timeframe ? thanks! looking at possibly the dark gunmetal.

**EDIT. Well seems right after I wrote this Dustin sent an email to me and everyone is spot on with his willingness to help! I am looking forward to doing business with FN wheels. Looks like they are expecting shipments arriving over the next 45 days and possibly will be back in stock with some colors by the end of Jan.
Hope this helps anyone looking for info.

Just try to reach him again and try to be patient. He is a one man operation. They are popular and well worth it if you ask me.

@Cappy I know brother I believe it. Your truck and wheels sold it for me ! I have a silver streak second gen. 08. You did the dark gunmetal right ? Doesn’t look too Shiny ? The matte black ones just always look busted and just Shot in person to me. Thinking the gloss finish may help it be easier to clean. What did U end up going with for center cap? I like the stainless look, but the color matched ones with maybe a dark gray TRD logo may give me more of that “murdered out” look I’m seeking. I was gonna do this and a lift but I think for bang for the buck and a change of looks this will be the better payoff right now

Hey Bud. Yes I have the high gloss dark gunmetal and I love them. Not too shiny and much easier to keep clean. I agree that the matte and flat just look too dull to my liking. Dustin also said these were his favorite and he owns the company which helped sell me on these. They even look better in person and appear to have a little metal flake in the color. You won't be disappointed. They come with matching center caps and you could get a custom TRD logo that matches your truck color if thats the look you're going for. I saved my matching caps and installed the polished aluminum caps with the red TRD logo to break up the color for some contrast. Went up one size on tires when I installed the wheels and absolutely love how they turned out. I'm a little old school which is why I went white letters out plus it looks good against the white truck IMO. I ordered the Eibach pro sport lift on black Friday to add 2" in the front. Was disappointed when they emailed me to say they would be delayed until late January even though it said "in stock" when I ordered. But thats ok as I'm waiting on headstrong offroad to get their 3 leaf aal back in stock to lift the rear 2" as well. Hopefully my caliraised ditch lights will get here soon so I'll have something to play with on my truck while I'm waiting on the suspension parts. I also have the parts for the rear breather relocation so I have that going for me..lol. If you have any more questions or need more pictures just let me know. I know its hard being patient as I had the same issue. Hang in there.

Edit. Also here is a pic I took yesterday that I posted on another thread as a deer hit me and I just got it back from the shop after 10 days. It will give you another angle. I had dents repaired on the door and back of cab plus the entire bedside had to be replaced. It turned out good. And BTW what are you doing up at 1 am :D

haha hey boss thanks for all that ! It was 12am my time in Central time zone. I'm a big boxing/mma combat sports follower so I was watching some fights. Yeah I love your truck looks soo good with the white on black theme. Sounds like you have some very nice projects coming up! Where in Georgia are you? I may be taking a job in Atlanta in the summer and heading that way. Yeah I am debating the Headstrong offroad kit or the Offroad Warehouse deal that I am looking at also for the Bilstein 5100's. Trying to decide on what OME coils I want depending on the lift. I've been stock for all 12 years so I don't wanna go too crazy, but also kinda feel like if i'm gonna do it, I may as well get the desired effect. likely 2-2.5". I'm also a 2WD, so it's not like i'm doing this for any offroading effects, purely cosmetic and because I've never done a lift before and kinda wanna see what it's like to get some experience. What size tires did you go with and what brand ? My next toy is probably gonna be a 4Runner TRD Pro, so I'm considering if I wanna go white for a stormtrooper theme on it or all black murdered out! ha

Just busting your chops. At my age I'm lucky to stay up that late on New Year's Eve lol. I appreciate your compliment on the truck. I have enjoyed playing with it. I have a new custom decal for the bedside that got painted so I need to put that on as well. My OCD won't let me ride around with one side done and not the other for very long. I actually live in the Canton area north of Atlanta closer to the mountains or as some say foothills..haha. I went back-and-forth between Eibach and bill Billstein and from all the research I did I felt like the Eibach were a better fit for me. I don't think you could go wrong with either set up. This will also be my 1st lift installed. I went with BFG KO2's in 265 70 17. I think a black or white 4runner would be nice. Just keep in mind that black will be hard to keep clean lol.

I know you are excited and you won't be disappointed. Yes Dustin is a great guy to deal with. Spent a lot of time talking with me to help me make the right decision. Sorry to hear about covid and your trip being postponed. Hang in there and feel better.
