Slept in, got my errands done, and successfully putzed the pump in the greenhouse,
    [IMG]

    And in the shed,
    [IMG]

And got this cute little heater/fan tested and mounted on a shelf.

Tomorrow, I'll get this little thermostat and everything else wired up to the panel.

That's a good day on the porch! Sunny, cloudless 78*, light West wind, and even nicer tomorrow!

FedEx guaranteed overnight by 10am in the morning. Carrots were not that tasty. Chicken was better than good.

We are going to support our favorite restaurant tonight. Curbside take out is one of the good things to come out this pandemic. We need to support local businesses because our federal and state governments are not.

Morning everyone. Mid 20s in NC , heading up to the mid 50s. Part time job at a HVAC company is turning into a full time job. Alot of people switching to natural gas from propane or electric. They were calling me to work about 3 days for about 4 hours. Now its turning into 5 days since they had 2 guys quit. I like having something to do , and they don't ask me to crawl under houses , but i never intended to work full time. Thanks for letting me rant , lol.

An overly complex solution to a simple problem. Mostly for stupid fun. The free solar water system!

Good Morning Porch! Looking for 80* today while I'm out in the yard. :pccoffee:

For now, I'm getting in 20 hours a week - four per day - and that is just about enough..... Pays for lunch with the boys, fills up the truck - buys materials for projects - and gets my old boss used to the fact that I won't be around to "fill voids" forever. Having access to a machine shop and skilled workmen can really boost my truck and T-bird projects too!

Everything goes in the book. The leftover QC habit that is about the only one from work I keep. Rex will supervise most of my work, but in the pic, he's more interested in "where's Mom?"

Lol , Rex knows what the deal is. Not sure they make a book big enough for my to do list. I enjoy my part time job. Something to pass the time with the guys and stick some Benjamins in my pocket. SS and pension go straight to savings.

Evening Porch folks. Was in the shed to start today, wiring the temp controller into the system. It only does C*, but I'm only going to set it a couple times. The case was like a little puzzle, and I used my velcro stash for mounting.

    And there we go

I left the sensor wire where I can move it if needed, and I'll make a bigger shield when I get a chance (It's basically to keep the heat by the pump, and from whacking the plumbing). Bagged up the rest of the frozen stuff the wife came out and cut, treated the pond, and got the smoker ashes cleaned out for tomorrow.

Kurt:, And I felt good about putting a second string of lights under the grilling canopy. I am a piker compared to your skills. Your control system looks great.

I love it - red and green is what I am allowed to do. And no flashing either! I did put two new solar flood out under the little crepe myrtle, and took the hideous wrap I did off. One side red, one side green. I can't get a good picture, but it's the thought that counts, right?

Thanks for the compliment. It's a stupid geek out story about the solar water, but it's been a lot of fun. I've learned a lot, because there just isn't a good parts list for pumping from a 55 gal rain barrel up a 4' rise over to a the greenhouse, just to run drips! Just so I don't have to go water everyday!

And I love the grilling set up - mine's at the far side of the pool. Which isn't a long way. But I keep them covered too!
