    I'll be heading out of Issaquah around that time, I'll plan on caravaning with you. You probably know the area better than I, let me know where to meet you.

    Alright, here's the latest on the First Annual Western WA SNOCOMA Run 2020. We have no planned route, however somewhere around the Salmon La Sac Campground (https://goo.gl/maps/V2T56p2ubtYJSGkf6) is what I'm going to tell the wife, I'm hoping other folks will have some more concrete input. I am personally running a TRD OR with stock suspension (with a spacer lift) on 33" MT tires and only planning on airing down (I have no chains). Other folks have varying degrees of preparedness, however I promise no one will be left behind (unless it's me, can somebody give a boy a lift?) :) If you want to come along, please post a reply.

    Attendees:
    @longhairedhippy
    @Usethe2nd
    @JDAM
    @Stick to your guns
    @stonylaroux
    @ready6delta (tentative)
    @Filip38507 (tentative)
    @utroda (tentative)

    Meet @ 9:00 AM, Sunday, 12/13/2020 at the Shell Station, 2600 E Sparks Rd, Easton, WA 98925
    We will meet at: https://goo.gl/maps/ZpcD4CX8BraH8XPF8
    UPDATE: We've changed meeting places to get closer to the snow!

    @Usethe2nd and @longhairedhippy will be meeting at the Preston Park & Ride (30303 SE High Point Way, Issaquah, WA 98027) at 7:45 AM to convoy if other folks want to join.
    https://goo.gl/maps/TFgWVSfFdnZJZdyK7

    I will send out a private message to everyone beforehand with my cell number (I don't want to post it publicly on the interweb :D).

    Also, here's my ugly mug so folks will know who to look for:

    who-am-i.jpg

    EDIT: I've added a few more folks, it's looking to be a bit large, however I plan on reaching out tomorrow to get firm answers on who's going to show up.

    I forgot to put this in the earlier message, we're obviously in the middle of a pandemic and I want to be as safe as possible so I will be distancing myself, I ask everyone else do whatever is within their comfort level.

    Ok, last post, I have started a conversation with everybody that has said they want to go (which I realize I should have done to begin with instead of continually spamming this thread). If you are not part of the convo, please msg me and I will add you, otherwise I'm stopping the spam. Thanks again everybody, super excited to be a part of this community that has been so welcoming! I will post a follow up with pics after we get home.

    Good luck on the run Sunday y’all. Posting a thread for my blinking 4x4 light issue since its ongoing after replacing both actuators with working units. This is while I look into sourcing a fj transfer case. thanks to @Shadowhunter and @bobsuruncle for the working actuators https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/another-4wd-blinking-thread.698555/

    Completely separate note. Big oops on some loose caliper bolts today too that lead to me loosing all brake control leaving @Shadowhunter s brake line came loose as the caliper bolts had backed out almost completely on the bottom and was missing on the top. Cut into the wheel pretty good... not sure how I missed this shit but shit happens I guess. Check your torque every once and awhile or shortly after major jobs was the lesson here... could have been very bad on an all highway drive home

    lol. not the first time i've seen this. We had this happen with northwesttaco after putting on his LT kit. He thought it was just LT noises until he got a flat at the bolt wore a hole in his rim. For some stupid reason we brought 0 tools with us, and had no reception... lucky a jeep came by with a hi-lift and some basic tools. FYI your skid plate bolts are a close fit to you get you out of a bad spot.

    Good call on the skid plate bolt. I think that’s the bolt that I pulled out of my mystery Tacoma bolt pile that we put back in there.

    Not aimed at you...but its honestly one thing Im surprised people leave out in their recovery "kits". Extra hard ware. A couple M6, M8, M10, (maybe) m12 bolts in common sizes (like m8x1.25 x 25/35mm) can go such a long ways. Ive run into quite a few broken down rigs (both just cars on the road and on trail) and all they need is a simple fastener

    Let us know how it went. Super jelly that I didn't get to tag along. With the snow in the forecast conditions should be great.
