As long as you respect it its not that bad. I wired the DC plant for cell towers for many years

Very cool. Pardon my ignorance, but what purpose does the Blue Sea dual MRBF fuse holder serve?

So there is a two 4g battery cables feeding the Switch Pros and Blue Sea fuse block. Typical inline fuses leave a few inches of unprotected cable back to the battery. The MRBF puts the fuses right on the battery leaving no unprotected cable.

Nice work. Just finished the same setup but ran the Ignition and dimmer triggers into the cab fuse panel. I couldn’t see an easy way to route the fuse taps through the engine bay fuse box. Are your wires running through the connector in the fuse box or did you find a hole to route them through. I didn’t want to notch any part of the perimeter sealing flange.

Did you treat the termination block with anything to prevent corrosion? I ended up not using mine because SwitchPro doesn’t recommend it. I ran Deutsch connectors since I have a bunch of them.

    What’s the overdrive button about?

I drilled a small hole in the corner of the fuse box. 2 layers of heatshrink and it seals very nice. The OvrDr is for the 2wd LO when it arrives

I used the Raychem when I wired cell towers so I use it on anything DC. I will be fabbing up some kind of splash guard for the terminal block

Good eye finding a good spot to drill. I may move my triggers down the line.

I may have to order some of that NO OX. I’ve only had the CRC grease but hesitant to use it on such an exposed block, dirt magnet.

Post up a picture of a cover when you get one made! Thanks for the feedback.

You can actually do this without drilling. Take out the 10mm and you can remove the wiring harness right to the left of your hole. Unwrap the tape and open the connector. Insert your wiring and close connector / retape. Then you can follow the factor wiring in.

Good pics. Doing mine this weekend. When with the CaliRaised offroad 9100 in cab mount. You can get the negative fender cable from SDHQ as well for the clean install

I know this is old but I want to finish my install this weekend. I really just need to hook up the wires in the fusebox I think as I won't have any accessories for a few more weeks. So 3 more wires I guess. I will be reading over the manual but were you able to catch everything inside the fuse box? Did you have to run anything besides the main cable to the controller in the cab? I hope mine is just as clean!

Not OP, but yes, you should be able to find suitable fuses in the box alone.

Only exterior thing you may desire is the pink "trigger" wire to initiate a switch based on something else: Like aux backup lights coming on with the reverse lights. May have to find a trigger wire in the kickplate loom, etc.

I have a wire routed to the trailer brake pigtail to work the brake lights on my chase bar.

What's "OP"? I assume I'll see it in the manual when I get to it.

Go to the giant switch pro BS thread. @Shellshock posted good pictures of the hook ups inside the under hood fuse box many times.
