I was wondering if the 19-20 trd snorkel will fit on my 16?

I don't see why it wouldn't. But Dobinson's snorkel is like half the price just saying

I like this one because you don’t need to put holes in your A pillar. It will connect directly to my prinsu rack.

How much do dealers charge to install these?

Whatever your dealers hourly rate is. Around $75-$125/hr. I can guess just shy of $300.

It does fit on a 16’ Tacoma. The hardest part was getting the rubber boots on.

With the snorkel being discontinued for new models and it being a Pro part, I have a feeling that they are going to be difficult to come by. When I had my Pro with factory snorkel Toyota gave my dealer the run around about getting a replacement snorkel head. They literally had to not only provide my VIN but also a photo of the damaged part.

If the fenders are the same it should fit. I got the factory snorkel for my 2020 pro. cost me $560.00. I installed it myself. [THERE IS NO TEMPLATE] What helped me was under the roof molding there were holes for the bracket with welded nuts to secure the bracket to. That helped the most because that positioned where the body of the snorkel needed to be located on the fender. I cant say your taco will have this because it did not come from the factory. CK my past post sept 16 trd snorkel. [ARMY GREEN] To get this from the factory you will need to give your dealer a vin# off a 2019 or 2020 that has a snorkel. They will not sell it to you without that vin for a trd that does not have the snorkel... Take it from me. LOL. Good luck..

I got it without providing a VIN and it did fit nicely. I made a template by using a sharpie on the foam side of the snorkel and pressing a piece of paper against it to get the outline of the cut out for my fender. Then I did the same thing as you and lined it up with my rack mount holes.

Great, glad it worked out for you. I have to ask how did you get the snorkel without giving the dealer a vin# off another trd pro ???? They told me TOYOTA would not release this without a vin# ???

I have installed 2 Dobinson's snorkels and never drill into the A-pillar. You can put 2 sided tape on if you want but its just completely unnecessary.

My dealer sells any pro parts you want without a VIN number. They are just giving you the run around.

Until your snorkel hooks on a branch and caves in your fender. Just saying. For looks, no A-pillar support is needed. In the woods you might want the VHB tape at very least.

0.01% chance of that happening. For that to happen you'd have to be doing about 86 mph and hit a Tarzan load capacity branch. I truly honestly believe and am convicted that would not be a possible scenario.
