Where can I go to get my lift installed on my 2016 Tacoma? A mechanic?... a truck specialist?

That company in the first link shows a lifted Tacoma on their Web site and they seem to be pretty good. Been in business awhile and appear to be nice guys from the reviews I have read online. They also have a whole page on lifts on their site so that could be telling. The other two look to be good as well.

Best of luck to you !

Go to your local advance auto or napa and ask them who their most popular commercial customer is specifically a gas station with a repair shop. You have a new truck its pretty straight forward to throw that stuff on.

then go to a reputable tire place to get it all aligned.

Well you can spend $800 on a one time use or shop labor to install your lift, or spend $800 and get a solid tool collection started with unlimited uses.

All you really need is a torque wrench, breaker bar, box wrenches, and sockets. Should run you like $100 at HF. Then "rent" an impact wrench from autozone for free if you want.

Yeah, if I get a lift I'm spending the $800 to get that installed.

If I do a lift it would be a small one that I'd have a shop install. So I don't think (I may be mistaken here) that $1600 would be needed for the parts alone.
