I've got a headstrong 3 leaf AAL for sale in Missoula to round out that kit.

Trying to wrap my head around lifts. What else would I need for this to be a solid kit? With that and the aal.. just need UCA’s?

From the photo it doesn't look like the kit includes rear shocks. I would say that those are a must, Bilstien 5100s (what the front has) are fine and relatively inexpensive. I ran them on my last truck and had no complaints. If you get the AAL and some rear shocks then you should be fine on the lift TBH. You can do UCAs if you want and they'll do nothing but help, but they aren't required. I've got almost 10k miles on my front end lift components without UCAs and don't feel like I need UCAs right away. granted, they're on my list but I am fine spending my money elsewhere for the time being. The UCAs allow you to get a better alignment and a bit more down-travel I think but if you rotate your tires on time and don't mind a slightly harsher ride you should be fine.
That being said I have a first gen so a bit different but given that the basic designs are effectively the same between first and second gens I can't imagine the effect of UCAs would be that different.

not even 2" here in Belgrade. Snow plows are out in full force though, I know those guys have been sitting idle for months so they're eager to do something.

The interstate was absolutely trashed last night. We left billings late for emigrant at 5:30. Passed 4 rollovers. 2 just west of Columbus. Big semi hauling lumber. Stuck for an hour on the road last night. Rolled up on one just outside of emigrant that had just happened too. A little snow and everyone forgets how to drive.

yep. gotta have a little "refresher course" every year...

I keep an eye on the MHP incident map. They keep it pretty well updated so its a quick indicator if there's anything going on to cause delays.

Think there was about 2” at Chico, was still coming down lightly when we headed back to Bozeman about 10am. 99630F52-08FD-40B9-AFBC-7EFD62B384F1.jpg

Wow heard some we're by Columbus. Highway 78 home was slick but fine. Snow tires help though

Would have thought the storm we had like in October would have smacked people into shape but most still didn't get their tires swapped over I noticed.

If we hadn’t stopped for air in the tire in Columbus we would have missed the jam.

I like it. Pretty clean facilities. First time there. My daughter loved it so we’re taking her for her birthday in April. Just so happens the hills you look at are public land... gonna be chillin in the hotsprings with my binos out watching for bears lol. Would make for an interesting show for the folks hangin out in the pools.
