I recently installed a 1.5 inch revtek Lift with a rear aal on my 2017 Tacoma trd pro and I’ve notice a fairly big change of how it handles over bumps and driving off road. I took it back to the shop that installed it and they said they forgot to tighten the bracket over my leafs. When I got it back it was handling better but it still is pretty shakey in the rear of the truck and it makes a little squeak when I go off-roading or over potholes. I ended up taking it back a third time and they just said it’s the aal I chose. I have seen many people like this lift and was wondering if anyone could help me out on where to go from here.

Ps I do not do heavy off roading just mostly drive on dirt trails. And since then I have also added spc ucas

Can you post some detailed pictures of your rear leaf springs? Might give us a better idea if they installed something wrong (Last lift/issue thread I saw had the shop put the add a leaf upside down and on top of the leafpack)

You didn’t say, but did you have an alignment done afterwards? All the wheel nuts tight?

I had a squeak before my AAL’s so when I was installing them I separated each one and lubed all of them from end to end with Lucas oil additive. No squeaks since.

What aal is it, are the u-bolts torqued to the correct spec?

Not sure if this would cause it, but every video I have watched involving leaf springs always says to make sure the u bolts are tightened the same amount.
Yours looks like one side of the bolt is tightened more than the other.

*** look how much thread is showing on right side compared to the left side. This shows that the right side was pulled much tighter than the left causing uneven pressure on the U bolts.

You are right I didn’t notice that. I think I’ll try and torque them down and see if that helps. Would you know how I could find out the torque specs ?

Single AAL is gonna ride like that regardless.
