I think people are patrolling our neighborhood. One of us is home almost always, but both packages were delivered in the overlapping hour we were both gone Friday and today

Loving the new suspension and lift that Jim helped me put in. Picked up my CaliRaised sliders today, gonna paint them this week. Also gonna paint the chrome on my bumper black, my wheels bronze, and possibly the mounting rails and aluminum frame of the softopper I've yet to install.

Guys with softoppers- do you think I will have an issue painting the aluminum bars given the rivets/hingeing points? Definitely don't want to get paint in there, might use plastic wrap or something to keep 'em clean and avoid hitting it with paint- I know others have popped all the rivets, painted 'em, then ordered new rivets from Softopper, but that would be a huge PITA

In regards to painting my wheels- I'm gonna clean 'em thouroughly, hit 'em with a scotch brite pad, self etching primer, then paint. Sufficient? Are there any stores that have a higher color selection of higher end paints in the area? Barring that, I'm just gonna go with whatever bronze they have at Autozone.

Also looking at getting a catback muffler. Looking at the MBRP turn down- I know it's gonna be loud and have a drone at certain RPM, but I don't really care and am always blasting music anyways. Curious what you guys are running and recommend.

Christ that's a lot- one last question- Need new pads, rotors, and rear drum assembly desperately. Planning on just getting the parts from Autozone- any reccomendations for saving $$$?

Thanks to all for the sage advice and knowledge from a newbie who greatly appreciates it.

Summit Racing in Arlington is where I got bronze Duplicolor paint for my Supra wheels. It was slightly cheaper than NAPA which is the only other place I found bronze in stock.

Rockauto.com is going to be cheaper on brake parts than Autozone. You'll just have to wait a couple days for shipping.

I'm hesitant to order anything online right now. 3 of my most recent orders from anyone, have been 2 weeks late. Still waiting on an oil filter that I ordered in Mid-November....

I only had to cancel one order and that was with Wheelers, a little over 3 weeks after I ordered they still hadn’t shipped it. Everything else I ordered in the beginning of November made it to me fairly quick.

Duplicolor paint will be a better option for wheels and clear coat is your friend! I would recommend doing a thorough cleaning and metal decontamination for prep work. Wipe it down with acetone before painting too. Can’t remember the brand but the house brand of brakes at Oreillys has been recommended by several mechanics I know.

I've been getting things either super fast or really slow. Except for the winch mount that I ordered that UPS says was delivered yesterday to the UPS store I used to prevent packages getting stolen, which the UPS store now says they don't have.

It’s this stuff that doesn’t make sense to me. WHY IS IT IN MASSACHUSETTS?

USPS and FedEx are rivals for worst carriers ever in my opinion.
I got an update from USPS that my package was in their system and arriving late yesterday evening. I opened up the tracking, and while it did arrive late, it arrived on October 16.
On another package, I got a late arrival notice and that the package is "currently in transit to the next facility." It's shown that it was last at the Edison, NJ facility since December 6th. It was supposed to be here Tuesday.

I’ve had that crap happen a few times.... I had a package sit in the Ft Worth dist center for 2 weeks once. I called a few times, to no avail. I finally told the lady, “That’s an RC car that was shipped with a live lithium battery pack in it. I hope it doesn’t get too hot...” It didn’t take them long to find it after that.

I still cant help but think back to when R & L carriers lost my RTT rack for two weeks......on the dock....with (and im not exaggerating) 27 tracking ID labels on it. Im pretty sure the local dock manager has my number blocked.

    Anyone seen my wallet?
Had a package deliver around 1:15 then around 1:55 looks like my camera caught an indecisive porch pirate, he didnt knock, just pretended to, looked around and at the camera for about a min and a half then walked off
