What use is a 1.37 quart dutch oven? That's like Cornish game hen size, lol.

You could make an old school pudding.

I do wonder how good the enamel is at that price point even if small.

    How Dickensian.
I'd rather use Pyrex for something like that, I think. I wouldn't want to boil it, even if it is enameled....

Sounds like it would be perfect for cornish game hens!

Teflon coating is real cheap, actually. Especially in large volumes. We do it for some of our stuff that goes into airplanes, it's like .50 cents per component, and we have more complex stuff and QA requirements to deal with that drive that cost higher.

Here are 5 of our examples

The small 9" is an old Taiwan import from the 1960's or so.
    10" antique Wagner 10 1/2 (Thin walled #8)
Griddle is very oil Griswald #9, 609
Staub pot bought new a few years ago, 24cm (~3.8L)
Other CI pot is a no name "Made in the USA" "DO", very thick and heavy bough new, probably 30 years ago.

We also have a another thicker walled 10.5 fry pan (Lodge as I recall), bought new ca 1985 and a Emeril rectangular two burner reversible griddle bought at Walmart, for cheap, but does the job. PLUS we have a really nice Staub crepe pan.

Also for Christmas I bought my wife a Red Staub Griddle

I need some help guys, I am getting ready to camp this weekend and noticed my cast iron frying pan looking a little rough.

I thought I would cleaned it and re-season..... I cleaned it with hot water, then used a brillo pad to get all the crud off of it. Between yesterday and today, I have run three cycles ---- Olive oil rub, 350 degrees for an hour and let the pan cool for 4 or 5 hours, then repeat. I just looked at the pan and it has gooey sticky nasty crap in spots. What did I do wrong?

I watched a video by Cowboy Kent Rollins https://youtu.be/7JPyUYbdS5k

That can come from too much oil or not enough heat. It'll be fine, just cook on it and keep seasoning it.
