I saw that in the theater when it came out. Nobody said a single word as we walked out after it was done. Every girl was crying. Every guy had something in their eyes.

Oh yeah, how about Clint's final scene in Gran Torino?

Brian's song made me tear up just now when I thought about it.

This is going to sound gay but we got my 2 year old son Toy Story 3 a few weeks ago. A few parts hit me pretty hard. The boy in the movie is going off to college and my oldest daughter just started college this fall. Just made me think about how fast they grow up.

No one has mentioned the end of Armageddon.

^If you think those were sad then you need to watch Das Boot, Full Metal Jacket, Platoon and The Fountain.

There's more I just have to think of them.

    Taking Chance

Its based on Lt. Col. Michael Strobl journal as a volunteer military escort officer, accompanies the body of 19-year-old Marine Chance Phelps back to his hometown of Dubois, Wyoming after Chance was KIA.

Its extremely moving, seeing the care that goes into the process of returning a service member home to his family.

    Not enough.
I don't how some people can do that to their own family. He'll regret it deeply later in life. I myself can't be without family.
Hmm didn't really bother me but the nazi leather duster coats looked nice.
Me and my bro will not watch that, we went through something similar to the movie.

-Big Fish...makes me think of my grandpa and how one day he will pass...its life. Had to write a paper on it for college on what the movies metaphor factor means, almost gah to leave class at the end.

-Blackhawk Down. Those delta snipers went in knowing death was waiting.

-Sweet November (look past keanau reeves)

    -*cough*A walk to remember

-Terminator 2 when at the end he's lowered into the melted metal and his hand gives a thumbs up.

    -The bucket list.

And this short true story...try to keep the eyes dry.

My Dog Skip. I usually only get choked up at certain parts of movies, but I basically bawled the entire second half of that movie. No guy I know who has a.) had a dog and b.) seen the movie has not cried.

I don't know if I would call it sad, but Precious is really fucking depressing, knowing that there are people who have to go through that kind of hell.
