    Did you stain the gable ends or are they just wet?

    @23Skidoo , did you get your V-3000 ?

    After much deliberation , I've actually changed course and I'm going to go with the Oneida Supercell instead of the V-3000. I realized that for my purposes the Supercell would suit the type of machinery use and work I intend to do in there and due to it's different design , (high velocity / low volume versus high volume / low velocity) , its footprint is substantially smaller and ductwork size is reduced from a 7" main line to a 4" main line .

    I just actually decided today to switch .

    Electricians are coming monday to run wire in shop so I kinda ran out of time to keep humming and hawing about it . I was concerned about how efficient the ducting was going to be with the way I wanted to run it and also the size of the footprint of the V-3000 where I wanted to put it in the bathroom .

    I could have mounted it outside the bathroom but that kinda messed with my layout for the stuff outside the bathroom and as a one man shop I won't need to run more than 1 tool with a 4" dust port at a time

    The Felder group is doing a promotional event for the holidays. The A3-41 is now listed for $5,490. My wife would shoot me, still tempted.

    I'm looking at the A3-31 eventually for my shop and that actually was one of the determining factors on my switch to the Supercell from the V-3000 . I ran 4" duct under slab to tablesaw island for 4" port on tablesaw and was going to put branch in island with a blast gate to hook mobile A3-31 to it when in use so I could just wheel it close to tablesaw island and hook it up with short piece of flex , no dedicated drop in middle of shop for it . But discovered the other day the A3-31 is a 120mm (5") dust port so not an ideal situation to hook up to a conventional 4" duct , however the Supercell's high suction can overcome that issue and collect from a 5" port

    Pretty tough to take exciting pictures of rough in electrical wiring , but I'm pretty happy , we got 90% of wire run today , hope to finish up everything tomorrow

    You know you want receptacles in a very specific location when you use blocking to move them over an inch and a half!

    Coming along nicely, @OZ-T!

    I've been following his entire build. He's had everything else figured out ahead of time, I wouldn't expect that to stop now!

    I spent last week boxing everything and making sure everything was where I wanted it , and then I had a meeting with my regular electrical contractor about routes for the wiring , spent about 3 days chalking lines and drilling holes so they were all perfectly lined up and looked up all the specs for the tools and utilities as far as electrical requirements go .

    Today it was me , my electrical contractor and his main guy . They were pretty giddy today , didn't have to drill anything , or look anything up or box anything , just pull wires haha

    They want me to come pre-drill all their jobs now , I declined
