I’m up at my in-laws right now in Raleigh and I’m having a hard time getting through dinner, can’t imagine living with them.

 

Yeah, we are super fortunate to find this house. The land is worth more than the house.

 

Radford University just accepted my application . East Carolina University is my top choice but I haven't heard back yet.

radford is in virginia so im gonna have to pay out of state tuition (thats if I attend) bruh

As someone who graduated nearly the top of the class in HS and then went to university and failed out after two years - go to community college for two years and then transfer in as a junior for the 2nd half of your college years.

my high school (technically k-12) is literally just a college prep school. My brother graduated from Pine Lake Preparatory in 2018 and he says high school is harder than North Carolina State University

 

I would strongly encourage you not to sign up for significant student loan debt. We had $163,000 in debt when we got married. It sets you back man.

because colleges are nothing more than paper mills. It’s so easy to get in and get out with that piece of paper saying you did it.

I did online at ASU in 2015-2016 and it was a joke compared to 2005-2006. Much changed in 10 years

 

we have $14k combined and I hate it

We are in a unique situation so we got through it fairly quickly but I don’t recommend you set yourself up to start your adult life with a large amount of debt like that. Life is expensive enough as it is.

 

took me 4 tries but I finally got it. I was only motived because I couldn’t find another job without having a bachelors degree

 

My stepdad took a few online classes at ASU in 2016. Idk why lol. he gets paid half a million a year to fly planes all day

 

We just bought our house with a 15yr old unit that may leak. We took the same approach, rather save through the winter than try to negotiate or get some cheap POS put in by the seller because of.....

.....^^^^ this, we just sold our house with a 32yr old heat exchanger hooked up to a 10yr old AC/furnace and the buyer tried to negotiate 20k in credits for a full system replacement. Everything worked fine, no leaks so get fucked, can't replace something just because it's old.

Now I just need to ensure I have 20k ready to go for an HVAC replacement before it gets hot and humid here, saving my pennies.
