The Expanse (Syfy then Prime series & Some Book Stuff)- Still Canceled

Their relationship is great.
I'm excited to see the book 5 stuff on screen.

 

Yeah, Amos is great from the get go.

It took some time for me to appreciate Avasarala as much though. Rewatching a bunch of episodes definitely helped.

 

I'm all about Camina

 

She's a combination of a few book characters that would've been cool to see in the show but she's turned out to be pretty cool with what they did. Drummer's story arc in the later books will be interesting to see on screen considering some of her choices in the show don't quite line up with the books.

It's also hilarious if you look up any interview with Cara Gee. They are not alike in any way lol.

 

Anyone else wonder how the actors can speak Belter Creole without laughing their asses off?

I’m thoroughly impressed by all but David Strathairn blew me away. He really owned it.

 

Just finished Tiamat's Wrath...
Only thing left to do is wait for Season five and Leviathan Falls...

Ok, just finished season 4 today. Season 3, especially Episodes 5-10 were freaking amazing.... my favorite by far....a perverbial panty dropper. Season 4 was good as well but it did kind if go off the rails a little. From previous experience watching multiple seasons of shows it has the tendency to build up to a huge next season so I am counting the hours until then.....and then.....I saw this just today! It says that it won't be ending just on pause.

I just wonder what they have in store. Cause there's going to have to be some major changes from the book story to cut it down to six seasons..

 

I think the link Crashngiggles provides said the shows not canceled after Season 6, more like placed on hold. No need to cram it all in by the end of 6.

 

Yeah, that's what I was referring to.
They said they planned for a six season arc. Wondering how that's going to work with nine books.
If they're stopping where book six stopped or if they have some other story planned.

 

Seemed more like pausing at the end of 6. Put production of subsequent books on indefinite hold.

 

Leviathan Falls comes out October 2021 and that's the last book, plus one more novella at some point too but that's it for the books.
Pausing after six makes sense because it'll match the books but that article makes it sound like they had a separate story arc planned for the show.
I trust the storytellers.
I just want to know, dangit

I am starting Epi 2 Season 4. My exact reaction to Season 3 and where I when posted the other day in the Netflix, Prime, etc thread.

 

According to this article, the first three episodes are being released at 0:01 am Pacific Time on 12/16/20....
