Smallest socket size worked for me surprisingly and usually cannot fit toward anything. Once broken loose should be able to hand loosen but yours may be more corroded than mine was.

 

I admired my paid for 06 SR5 manual 6 speed after looking online for an automatic to trade in for of the same-ish year.
I now have multiple injuries after 20 years of active duty making it difficult to push in the clutch. When I searched online, I was a little ticked to see my truck was valued at just over $8K as a trade in. The stealerships take the same $8K truck and sell it for $16K+. Efn thieves.

Ain’t that somethin?? I’m doing the same thing with my truck, and I just put $8K into it in 2020. Our babies hold their value, so I’m for sure selling private for double the amount those stealerships would offer for it.

I agree. I have one (Noco Boost Plus) and it is well worth the money and peace of mind. I also have a set of 1 gauge jumper cables as a backup. I used the jumper pack a few weeks ago on someone else's car and it started almost immediately.

 

Just a 5K oil change and prop shaft grease.

 

Installed the OME carrier bearing drop kit today. I also greased all 5 zerks on the driveshaft. The vibration/shudders that I had, especially when accelerating are probably 80% gone now. It's much more tolerable to drive than before. As you can see in the picture, they come in black now instead of silver.

 

Washed it. 230xxx miles and going strong

 

Can't drive with my head turned sideways all the time.

 

That thing looks like it just rolled off the lot!
