The name of the game It happens in most all service type businesses .

Funny how the end user charges their customer an Emergency service rate but our owner will not because he does not want to offend them. So our customer charges 3 times the normal rate for our equipment and we break even or lose money plus wait 90 days to get paid.

Growing up Mom was a ok cook she never was one for spices or anything hot.

It was only in the last few years I ever used Salt or tried mustard let alone had any in the house.

Uh, a 1" x close nipple would only be that expensive if it's 316 stainless or another exotic metal...

This is what happens when a hole is reamed before it's drilled. Operator ran the wrong fixture into machine. Knocked the spindle out of alignment.

2 days ago the powdercoater ask if we had a gear puller. This morning he said his man was bringing me a motor and he wanted me to heat it with the torch and get the pulley off. This is how he brought it.

He had it lose and had beat it farther on the shaft. You can see hammer tracks on the face of the pulley.

I said you know that’s a tapered insert, right? He said yeah. I said see those threaded holes, that’s to pull it apart. He said I know. I could tell there hasn’t been a bolt in them so I tapped them clean, inserted a screw driver in the slot and backed it apart. He’s not the sharpest crayon in the box.

I'd be a liar if I said I didn't. Running a Matsuura VMC years ago and I didn't enter the g-code to tell the mache where home was. Years ago and just getting my feet wet with CNC equipment. The tool I was using looked almost as bad and required a specialist to repair the machine. I never did learn CNC machines well, I took another job and have only worked with conventional machining equipment since.

In the last few years I've started cooking more. For some reason I've kind of latched onto Indian, so things like tikka masala, palak paneer, etc. For my palate and nose, there's something about cumin that is downright amazing, which might explain the Indian thing.
