    Got my grey softopper going on my silver 14' this weekend. I have a long trip from GA to Traverse City Michigan coming over X-mas. I am really impressed with the quality of the parts they sent. Any quick tips on extra water proof protection for the long haul?

    Has anybody scotch guarded one of these things to help water resistance?

    I have a bed mat, so any water that does come in from the corners or tail gate gaps will just run under the bed mat.
