Have fun man! We had to cancel on Hawaii due to quarantine rules there (couldn’t afford to quarantine for 14 days there and then vacation)

just went down to Amelia Island and drank the whole week at the beach or the pool

St. Lucia will be a blast!

My recent hardtail build. Frame is a Ridley Ignite, Fox Factory 32SC fork with SRAM drivetrain and Shimano stoppers. Such a blast to ride and total contrast from my Niner RIP 9.

Just saw Pivot released an updated Mach 6 (https://www.pinkbike.com/news/first-look-2021-pivot-mach-6.html). I bought a v2 Switchblade this summer but am seriously considering selling. Personally, I don't care how fast it is uphill. As far as I'm concerned, pedaling is just a necessity to ride downhill. Any thoughts?

I got married in Saint Lucia. Excellent choice for a honeymoon. You're going to love it!

    Rough time to travel, though.

Yeah that 14 day requirement is nuts. Thankfully st Lucia is only requiring a negative result, but who knows with that. Thankfully sandals is covering all the travel insurance during these times.

Very rough, but potentially very very peaceful with less people lol.

No lines at the airports, cinnabun, etc. Sign me up!

We had an auditor in last week who was saying it's hard to pull off some of the old flights, so he flew from LA to RI, and had a layover in....Chicago? He missed his connecting flight and there weren't any other options, so he was delayed by a day at that point, where as back a year ago or so, there would have been one every hour going that way and it wouldn't have been a problem.

Why do you want to get rid of it? If you're not sold on your SB and havent tried it in the 29" setup i would do that before moving on. I hated my original Hightower setup plus but really enjoyed it once i got rid of the trash plus wheels and tires (Rekons). Just not enough bite for Colorado and Utah riding.

Here's the AF that i rode for seven months before going back to Santa Cruz.

Agreed with @NateMob throw some 29ers on there. That bike is meant to be a 29er IMO.

Ahh. Makes sense. The decor didn’t strike me as her style, especially for the new place.

Maybe you can find a friend to borrow some 29er wheels for a day.

If I was considering a whole new bike I wouldn’t want to drop the coin on some new wheels to try it out.

That new Mach 6 looks sexy. My local pivot dealer was kinda annoyed they “released” the bike and are not even prepared to ship. By the time they get some it will no longer be the new hotness.

I haven't won, but the local trail building/maintenance group does one every year. I'll keep entering, and think of it as a donation to the trails group.

I haven't been riding much lately. It's pretty much just been riding the Mukluk to "walk" the dog, or go check the trail cams.
