Those lights look neat. Nice they can be mounted in that position.

I will start off with stock settings on the control arms and look to adjust the pitch as needed. The whole suspension is being beefed up. I haven't figured out what to do with the panhard at this point. I may just put in new bushings.

The one thing I haven't seen is some type of rock slider armor for the rear diff. I did recently hear of somebody who busted open their rear diff on some rocks.

I know the whole rear diff skid debate is somewhat polarizing for our trucks...some people like the idea where others say it just makes your already low clearance at the diff even lower.

I think I've read on here that the weak point on the diff is the back of it, right? Smacking the front or bottom isn't so bad (unless you smash the e-locker actuator, that would suck), but I guess the back of the diff is relatively thin. So if anything reinforcing that part would be a good idea

No idea if it's the same for Cruisers, knowing Toyota they probably gave them a much beefier one than they did ours

Unless you're really going to go rock crawling, combined with not paying attention to your line, I don't think that should be an issue?

@eon_blue where did Sean have that tiny skid plate? His transfer case? it was the size of an index card

correct, you will see people weld 3/16 or 1/4" plate over the housing where the ring gear is to beef it up and keep the housing from contacting the ring gear

That was just the rock chip guard that Toyota puts there from the factory under the transfer case, I don't think it was designed to protect it from anything serious. Was funny to see it on a rig as modified as Sean's though

I like how simple that is. Do those outside plates bolt to the bottom of the frame rails?
