End of Jan or even after that will probably be best. Gives everyone time to recover (financially and mentally) from the holidays. I know I will be draining bank between christmas gifts and truck goodies. (Sway-a-ways......maybe.....still deciding.)

I hear and feel ya. I'm trying to catch back up from over the summer and now there is Xmas. At least I get 3 checks for Dec and then tax return in Feb timeframe.

I'll just be doing some easy, cheaper mods. Most expensive I will get will be the mesh for my grill.

BTW, I just got a sample pack from customcargrills.com everyone can check out.

Well its confirmed now that I won't be out of the country for work in Jan. so I will be down for hanging out and getting some ideas for future mods. A warmer weekend would be best but I do not guess one can wish for that in January.

SuthrnTaco07, I think I unofficially met you at the visitors center when I got the new badges for my truck back in the middle of October. Not even a word of hey are you on Tacomaworld..come on man! I thought about asking who's nice red Tacoma that I used to see on random days at Gate 9 belonged to but didnt... so the same could be said for me.

I should be able to make it on whatever day is decided.

Anyone have a Kerosene heater we can setup? The house will be available, but if we set one up outside, it would be a good warming spot. I might grab a portable fire pit if we can't land a heater.

I don't think that was me. LOL!! By Sept 20th i left gate 9 and went to gate 1 visitor center. Then the middle of Oct I left Gate 1 and got a new job working in the sparkman center on 2nds... So you probably talked to Scott! LOL! He drives the Silver Tacoma out front.. He did tell me some guy came in and asked him Where did the guy with the awesome truck go? He laughed and was like "oh thats mine.. haha just kidding" then he told them i got a new job. I love helping tacoma's! I used to ask anybody with a tacoma if they loved it and half of them thought i was retarded and said "well its no full size truck but it will do" then i just wanted to tell them that they are retarded! Anyways its good to hear that i get some recognition! LOL!

BTW.. I can't get a heater but yeah those Kerosene heaters are AWESOME!!

I guess I should have clarified I got my badges at Gate 1 and the big red machine was out front. But yea it sucks not seeing it at Gate 9 in the mornings its a sharp truck. I am sure you are glad you are out of the visitor's center though.

Sounding very good to me as well. I live in Hueytown so I plan to make my way up there. I have a small porter cable compressor if need be or i can get a medium sized craftsman along with a 3/8 impact and air ratchet, not to mention hand tools jacks jack stands and other stuff. if its late enough in january and i can sell this stupid Mechanical engineering PE exam book I may have my all pro sliders ready to go by then but def want to see about gettin a BHLM done to my truck. As for what i can do just let me knwo what wrenches you want me to turn.

Was just thru y'all's part of the world week of Thanksgiving. Got to do 20 laps round Talladega and went to Barber MSP. Stayed at some condos by a lake near Pell City. Great time and great place, really enjoyed the scenery and such. Whole new outlook on AL. Enjoy the meet!.........

I'm not far from H'town. If you want to meet up somewhere off I-65 the day of the meet we can follow eachother up there. For that matter....anyone in/around B'ham can meet up and we can all go up to Huntsville together. (Running 3 wide up 65 treating the emergency lane like a mini Baja 500)

Now that would be a site.

Coming up from B'ham, I would suggest taking 36 at Hartselle or 231 from Tarrant and coming in the south end of town. If you take 231, I always use 79 and 278 to bypass Blountsville and continue thru Arab.

As we get closer, I'll PM everyone with address.

Never been there, but I'm only 5 minutes from the bridge.

Glad you enjoyed our little slice of the US. I did 8 laps at Dega and got to 156 mph. I hope you got a little faster with the 20 lap set. It is hard to believe those guys do that for 188 laps there.

That is my understanding, but I'm not sure which side of the bridge they are talking and how to access it.
