Lucky you!! I requested 6NTRD about five days ago. I read 198 days to wait is the magic number. How long did it take to get yours approved?

 

I filed the request on 11/23, they show first review on 11/24 and was granted this morning so 18 days with the Thanksgiving holiday in those days. I was told 21 days was the average depending on the time of year may take an extra week.

 

LOL not 198 I meant to type 18. I heard from a couple source it was 18. Thank you for confirming that and congrats! 73's

 

N7TRD here. When I filed for mine, it was about 2 weeks.

 

LOL you almost got the same as me very cool! I am just hoping the N6TRD is available! I looked it up on a website and the site said it was available so time will tell I guess.

I get that. I hear alot of guys on nets say "I was on a ten year hiatus and just got back."

 

I just finished school this year. One of my goals is to get a mobile rig and start chatting on the drive again as I've been out for a few years.

 

That is great I hope you do get back into it! Tomorrow is day 18 for the vanity call but I think Xmas Eve will get in the way of that.

LOl siCC!! I am hoping the N6TRD is good to go! I just realized the last time I wrote it it was spelled incorrectly. The last guy to have N6TRD was years ago. I looked this morning and that call sign was under another guys name and now it shows that it does not exist anymore so I hope that is a good sign!

 

for me its been just motivation to setup old antennas. I dont do 2m, but i listen alot. Too many locals have put a bitter for me even to TX.

I'm looking for a way to mount my FTM-300D control head between the rearview mirror and the headliner, do you guys have any ideas about how to do this?
