    congrats. I love south Texas deer hunting. I’m hoping to get back to my lease next weekend. But chances are slim. My wife got Covid last week and now is having an allergic reaction to amoxicillin that the doctor prescribed.

    I put a tape on the wide 8 point. 140 6/8 :eek: even if I’m off a couple of inches, a 135” 8 point isn’t something I thought I would ever have a shot at! Passed a lot of bucks to get this one!

    I've got a buddy who swears shank steak is the absolute best tasting cut on a deer.
    I put my shoulders and shank in the smoker for 4-6 hours and have pulled meat for various dishes.

    This really sucks . Last 2 days of rifle season and I’m in bed with a heating pad and CBD salve on my back . Sitting position or bending at all very painful .

    Thanks Back to chiropractor Monday . I’m going to call the neurosurgeons office that I’ve been to in the past . An MRI is the only way to figure out what’s going on in my lumbar spine . Cervical spine mri shows 2 bulging discs from 2002 . Thoracic mri shows arthritis and degenerative disc disease. I don’t know why they just don’t do full spine in one shot . :spending: More money must be the reason .
