Well here it is - basically untouched since I bought it. Mostly bought as a truck me and my son (14) can learn on and fix up for when he turns 16. I did remove a bug deflector on the hood and I'm working on changing some belts that are a bit squeaky now. Up next: MAF sensor to shut the dash light off, a new steering wheel (the one on the truck is pretty jacked up), and hopefully the DJM-3/4 kit. Tinted windows, radio, upgraded seats, steering column fix...the list grows and grows.

Edit - and new seals along the bottoms of the windows

Hey @InAComa2004 how wide are those wheels/tires? I kinda like the poke outside the fender.

Good looking truck you have here!

You ever think of replacing those weatherstripping parts at the bottom of the window? Yours seem to have the chrome conversion going on like mine did!

Cheap and easy to install and highly visible sexy oem goody.. just pry them ( I used a plastic putty knife)up and out starting from the rear and then snap the new ones in. This was so easy and made such a nice difference, I wish all upgrades were this simple and rewarding!

Went from almost full chrome, truck rotting away..

To fully restored 2002 showroom goodness in minutes!

OEM part #'s are 68160-04020 for the right, 68210-04020 will be for the left.

Enjoy that Tacoma regardless, she's a beauty!

anybody have a set of dodge charger steelies 17x7 wheels on their tacoma 5 lug? wondering on the backspacing/offset etc...lug pattern and center bore shows it will fit and i found some on CL for the low

research shows the offset to be 21mm. would the wheels be sunk into the wheelwell with that offset?

SWEET‼️ Simple & clean, nice wheels and welcome to Tacoma World! It’s mostly 4x4 members but most are cool with Street trucks.

I looked & looked & looked for a clean white w/ a stick Gen 1, ended up with an Silver wrecked 05 from Copart. With COVID they won’t let you look before bidding! Man is it in ruff shape! Paid way too much for the condition but there’s more room under the hood for an LS swap someday...

Just picked this up, 99 2.4L, planning on selling the canopy. Have some Mustang wheels for summer, got a UDR short shifter coming in the mail, new shocks and a bunch of tune-up parts to be installed

I'm going through a rough time right now and just came here to click through this thread. Dropping a truck is something that is not for me but these builds are pretty darn cool. Thanks for keeping me entertained.
