Crack the drvr side open about 1/2in and make sure hvac is not recirculating inside air.

So do I have to set the correct position on the dial and then install the servo motor

Or just slap it in and it’ll take care of itself ?

That sucks , I just got mine but haven’t put it in yet .

So the square in the servo motor should be at the right position ? I shouldn’t have to manually rotate anything ?

Two sides are flat and two sides are rounded.

    Update :

so I got my part in the mail and went to replace it today , taking down the glove box I was checking to make sure it was the correct part number and looking at it . So I realized it was unplugged  I unplugged it last time I was in there trying to fix my OTHER problem . I broke the green wire :anonymous: trying to disable the compressor kicking on when you switch it to defrost (which is a mod here ) . So if anyone knows how to get the connector out of the harness (is there a special way ?) that plugs into the servo motor I’m all ears ? :rasta:

so now I have to try to return the servo I got

Why would you want to disable the compresser?

Well I’m not sure if it’s the compressor but when you turn to defrost it uses a part of the ac system to help with condensation but you don’t always need it to be on in some instances . So the mod calls for the removal of the green wire (I think) which you’re supposed to be able to snap it back into the wire harness , I broke the wire trying to get the plug out of the harness . Now I can’t get it out to fix it

After breaking this wire I notice that I need it more than not . (Now I have to turn the ac on to get the same effect) . I’d actually like to get the pin out of the plug and solder a wire to a switch
