It does. They still recommend rolling up the rear if the front is open though.

Nice! I just ordered a solid rear panel last night, I should have added this into my order - Didn't know it existed as a DIY kit.

I don't use anything for the rear flap, so that should let the right amount of air through? Easy to experiment there.

I almost wish that they would offer this as premade? A second front panel could be handy.

Wait, you just run it with the back panel removed?

Not yet. I was just saying that without the velcro on the TG, there is probably enough exit area that the front flap could be opened without rolling up the rear?

Got it, that makes sense. You could always undo the zippers some for extra exit air if needed.

I wonder how easy you can see through the mesh with your review mirror?

I have the screen back panel but never installed it. It's always too dry and dusty or to wet here for it to make much sense.

    Edit:
    Thorough the screen

Through the really dirty tinted rear panel

Isn't that tacomaworld in general? I've been fighting off buying a lexus key card for a few weeks now. Resistance is futile.

I can't speak for bestop, but I have a softopper and could not be happier with it. I also added the tent attachment.

After being placed on a brief backorder my Softopper is finally inbound! Should be here Wednesday (12/16) gotta get self etching primer and matte black paint to paint that ugly silver bed rail frame before I install. Once installed gonna run a Mr. Buddy in the tailgate for a bit to get all of the snow and slush out of the bed and have a nice dry bed for the rest of the season!!

Yeah, also gonna order up the lighting for it too. Funny how "I'm gonna keep this truck stock I love it the way it is" went right out the window...

Do you have a write up for the lights? Wouldn't mind seeing how that all came together
