    These were D2S 3.0. They now have the 5.0s which are way better. It was an Apollo 3.0 with a front 80mm RGB halo. You can add 110mm to the rear as well

    I have read that if you keep the chrome bowl and don’t paint it black there will be some light that will bounce off the chrome.

    Because of that I painted mine flat black.

    Maybe true, maybe not, but it makes sense

    I just fired them up again to double check, there is a little light leakage, but it's much less than what an HID pushes out. It looks like there is alot of upper wash in the garage, but with the drywall paper/white walls it looks brighter than it really is.

    Did you have to trim those shrouds at all? I just got a new set of lights delivered and I was thinking of going with the Apollo 3.0 in black instead of the mini gatling gun like I used last time.

    Yes, I had to trim them on the bottom side. I took out about 2" x 1" piece of plastic for them to sit flat.

    @LSC15 or anybody else. I have miramoto H1s (they screw in and no cutting is needed). My question is, i cant adjust these right? I have had them open as i was waiting for my truck to get out of the shop so i can adjust. Then i realized there is no room for adjustments. Am i right? Lol

I’m installing a mini H1 8.0 kit right now and one of the washers is quite a bit thicker one one side. The other washer for the other projector is even in thickness.

    If I get halos and demon eyes, do I have to buy 2 RGB controllers?
    What if I want the demon eyes and halos the same color? Can I get away with one controller?

    what if I want them different colors? Do I need two controllers?

    UPDATE: Found the answer
    Look like you can control up to 6 lights, 3 at a time with one controller

    Thats what I was thinking...man this whole install has been kind of a let down. It was also missing a seal on one of the solenoid wires and one lens has a few small scratches in it. They’re barely noticeable but still...I guess the quality control has gone downhill at TRS or the Black Friday sale just killed them.
